Jesus | Jesus Himself is the pursuit and prize of our lives. All we do is through Him and for Him.
"For I determined to know nothing among you but Christ & Him crucified." 1 Cor. 2:2
Fixed Gaze | We cannot afford to lose sight of Jesus. All that we do and become is to be led & directed by fixing our gaze upon Him.
“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.” Psalm 27:4
Christ-likeness | As believers, we are made to be living examples of Christ among a broken and hurting world. We believe that as we behold Him, we become like Him and that it is Christ-likeness that draws people to Himself.
“As Christ is, so also are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17
Eternity Driven | The way we live is driven by the reality that our lives and the lives of those around us carry eternal significance.
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Cor. 4:18
Unity | We “make every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace” (Eph. 4:3) among believers. Unity in the Body of Christ demonstrates to the world the reality of God and His love.
“May they become perfectly one, so that the world may know that You sent me and loved them even as You loved me.” John 17:23
Faith | The truth of what God says about Himself and us defines our reality and identity. We live by faith in what He says in His Word, not feelings and circumstances.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
Relationship | We believe mission outside the context of relationship can actually hinder God’s desire to see every person reached with the Gospel. He has created us for deep relationship not only with Himself, but with each other and said that “the world would know us by our love for one another” (John 13:35).
"We were pleased to impart to you not only the Gospel of God, but our very lives, because you became so dear to us." 1 Thess. 2:8
